These necklaces are inspired by traditional Sardinian buttons with the typical filigree decoration in circular motives recalling local basket patterns, sea urchin shells and prehistoric drawings on neolithic "nuraghe" constructions. Entirely handmade by overlapping several layers of natural clay, they merge elements characteristic to Sardinian culture: pottery, weaving and vivid colors of traditional costumes. 

Coral-red gem and copper-tone details give color to the black clay. The soft black viscose necklace is decorated with handmade ceramic beads made of refractory clay with brilliant glass powder.
